Knürr GmbH is a leading manufacturer of special workstations for safety-critical 24/7 operations such as police, fire departments, emergency services and industrial control rooms. With over 40 years of industry experience and a team of around 80 employees, the company develops and manufactures integrated workstation solutions of the highest standard for customers worldwide.

The Sales Engineer Control Room Infrastructure drives the regional sales and profitability of the product sales business and coordinate with other local Sales Engineers and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. Furthermore, the Sales Engineer supports business plans, long-term objectives and customer satisfaction goals.

The role should be located in the Paris metropolitan region.

Key responsibilities:

  • - Sales of technical workplace solutions such as control room desks, visualization technology, contract furniture and other infrastructure components
  • - Technical advice on our complete solutions on site at the customer's premises
  • - Developing technical and commercial concepts and preparing quotations
  • - Development of new market potential and customer segments, creation of analyses, concepts and strategies to increase sales
  • - Acquiring new customers in the area of project and OEM business
  • - Establishing, maintaining and developing long-term customer relationships and strategic cooperation partners

Requirements:

  • - Technical or adequate commercial education with a focus on IT, electrical engineering, mechatronics
  • - Several years of professional experience in field sales for consulting-intensive technical capital goods
  • - Knowledge of ergonomics and interior design would be an advantage
  • - Strong consultant personality with access to a wide range of industries and customer types
  • - Confident appearance with pronounced customer and market orientation
  • - High willingness to travel
  • - French as native language is a mandatory requirement
  • - Written and spoken English (and/or German) language skills
  • - Desirable: knowledge & experience in the area of public tender projects
  • - Desirable: own experience as a dispatcher in a control center or similar.
  • - Desirable: existing, resilient network in some of our target industries (defense, police, rescue services, security/surveillance, traffic, energy distribution)
