Full-time position, starting Q1 2024, based in Paris or Lyon, with occasional travels and the possibility of remote working.

This initiative is part of the French National Cyber Strategy. Our mission is to foster the emergence of European cyber champions. We're seeking our German Business Growth Manager to drive the development of our startups in Europe.

You'll be responsible for preparing the entry into Germany of French start-ups already recognized on the French market.

You are ideally German, or you have more than 8 years of experience in Germany; you speak German and English, you have sales experience, and your analytical skills and commitment to results will be key to organizing and managing the opening of a new target country (e.g. Germany) for the startup.

You will develop, implement, and validate the strategy to penetrate and initiate growth in the target country. You will work closely with the French teams to identify and convert business opportunities into customers.

  1. Your key responsibilities:
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • - Work on the targeted country to identify opportunities and assess their potential.
  • - Analyze the competitive landscape and regulatory requirements in the targeted country.
  • - Propose market entry strategies: market segmentation, target customer profiles, and pricing strategies.
  • - Identify strategic partnerships, alliances, or distribution channels to boost market entry and build a network.
  • Growth Marketing:
  • - Gather information on prospects' needs and challenges in the context of the targeted country.
  • - Build local knowledge of the targeted market to enable specific GTM with critical players in the country.
  • Business Development:
  • - Plan and execute business development initiatives to establish an initial sales presence.
  • - Convert leads into MQL based on predefined criteria.
  • - Work with the sales team to convert them into SQL.
  • - Keep lead information up to date in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • - Manage the KPIs needed to monitor sales activity.

2. Skills required:

    • - Proven experience in business development and opening new markets. Experience in indirect sales will be a plus.
    • - You are familiar with digital marketing and data analysis tools; you know how to manage and implement a "sales machine".
    • - CRM and its use have no secrets for you.
    • - You are a native English or German speaker.
    • - Open-minded and outgoing, you naturally reach out to others; you enjoy exchanging ideas and building a professional network.
    • - Curious, looking for new challenges, and motivated by technical innovation.
    • - You are a creative thinker with a spirit of initiative and know how to work cross-functionally.

3. Objectives:

    • - To achieve or even to surpass your sales targets!
      • - Build, manage, and run a prospecting solution.
      • - Contribute to the European expansion strategy of our start-ups.
      • - Act as the accelerator's "country" contact, centralizing expertise on the country's cyber ecosystem.
