Germany is Country of the Year at Viva Technology 2026.

As part of Germany’s role as Country of the Year at VivaTech 2026, the Franco-German Tech Night stands as the flagship bilateral networking format, designed to bring together the key actors shaping Europe’s innovation landscape.

More than a traditional side event, this curated gathering creates a high-level encounter space where political leaders, corporates, research institutes, startups, and institutional stakeholders connect, exchange, and build new partnerships. It reflects a shared conviction: innovation is strongest when shared and cooperation is the foundation of Europe’s future.

Taking place on 18 June 2026 at Voie 15, near Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the event will welcome around 300 selected guests from France and Germany with a clear focus on trust-based dialogue, fostering meaningful connections and concrete collaboration opportunities.

The Official Side Event of Germany’s Partner Country Presence

In close cooperation with the German Embassy in France and the French Embassy in Germany, this exclusive side event will be inaugurated by Thomas Jarzombek, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation and Stephan Steinlein, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to France.
