Startup Germany and French-German Tech Lab at VivaTech 2025

This year, and after the success of our Lab during the last VivaTech’s editions, the French-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce was once again proud to organize in 2025 together with its partners the Startup-Germany and French-German Tech Lab at Europe’s leading tech and startup event, from June 11 to 14 at Porte de Versailles in Paris.

320 square meters of Innovation and French-German cooperation

World-class research centers, cities, public agencies, and regional economic actors worked together to promote innovation and growth. With an increasing number of participants each year, the Tech Lab continued to expand with a wide variety of bilateral partners with the aim of promoting technological cooperation in an international framework.

It featured, on the one hand, regional ecosystems under the banner of Startup Germany partnerships and, on the other hand, academic and research collaborations under the banner of French-German Tech Lab.

The Lab stands as an expression of the strong partnership between Germany and France, offering a real and meaningful contribution to Europe’s technological sovereignty - a goal that is more important than ever given the current situation.

Following the success of the French-German Tech Lab/ Germany Booth in 2024, which hosted 40+ conferences and over 100 startups, and welcomed over 4.000 visitors, we were excited to continue expanding the ecosystem. With new partners joining and a strong support from the political sphere in both Germany and France, we contributed to strengthen Europe’s position as a leader in innovation.

Over the past years, on VivaTech and especially on the Startup-Germany and French German Tech Lab, we witnessed that many exhibiting and pitching Startups have been approached by Corporates, VCs, investors and other multipliers.

What we want to do is to build European champions to make them become world champions!
